Emma Turns 3

Our little girl turned 3 in July!  We cannot get over the change in her over the past year.  While her passionate spirit, strong-willed and sweet nature has not changed, she is so much more expressive, inquisitive and slowly becoming more confident.  It still takes her a while to warm up to new situations but once she is in her comfort zone, she can be totally unstoppable!  She is thriving in her second year at preschool, learning to swim and joined a soccer class.  Also, quite the girlie girl, she loves her dolls, playing dress up and is a budding fashionista as she often likes to pick out her own clothes, much to the dismay of Mom who would prefer to have a life size doll to dress up anyway she wants.  So here's to another year having gone by way too fast...and to our much loved little girl who captured our hearts from day one and has never let it go.

Silly siblings and best friends - these two are often times like two peas in a pod.  

After spending almost her whole life on the sidelines watching her big brother in all his activities, we finally signed her up for her own soccer class.  And proving that she truly is a spectator at heart, she usually needed a lot of encouragement to join the class.  And as usual, big brother Jake was there to help her out.
