1 Month Old

In the Chinese and Vietnamese tradition, we celebrate the birth of a baby when they are one month old (also called a Red Egg and Ginger Party). So we had both sides of the family over to our house for Jake's official debut.

Grandparents

We think Jake's grandparents could spend the whole day just holding him.

We could not believe how tiny his feet were...it's one of our favorite body parts.

This is Jake's first tummy time session...and like most babies, he hated it and only lasted about 5 seconds.

In these early weeks, we didn't care where Jake slept...we were just grateful when he did!

First Bath

Not sure who was more scared of the first bath...Jake or Dad because he was so tiny and fragile.

Jake did not like his first bath at all....it took him several weeks before he realized he liked the warm water.

Big Cousin

She decides he's OK after all and gives him a big kiss. We have no doubt Elise will be a great big cousin to Jake.

Auntie To Anh and Uncle Sherman and their daughter Naomi, born six days before Jake.

Cousin Jane

Auntie Carman and Uncle Todd welcomes Jake into the world.

Auntie Heidi and Uncle Lorin recently got married and moved to New York...guess we'll have to pack up Jake and head to the East Coast for a visit!
