Pomp and Circumstance

June was a big month in our household. Jake turned 5 and graduated from preschool all within the same week! We are so proud of our little guy - a major milestone in his life! Although we will miss the warm and nurturing environment of his wonderful preschool, he is excited and ready for the next step - Kindergarten!

Happy 5th Birthday to our first love...we are so proud to be your mommy and daddy! We love you very much.

Star of the Week

At Jake's preschool, every week, one of the kids is the "Star of the Week". You get to bring in pictures of you and your family, take home a special bag with a book every day and the parents are encouraged to come in during the week to lead an activity. We really enjoyed going to Jake's school to get a taste of what his every day is really like. So often we send him off in the mornings and try to get a download at the end of the day but nothing compares to seeing it first hand.
