From day one, everyone said Jake looks like his Dad...and as he gets older, he looks even more and more like him. He's often referred to as "mini-Gil"...and Mom couldn't be prouder of her two boys!

Jake's first week as a 9 month old was a big week...in addition to sprouting his first tooth, he is now a bonafide crawler! The days of his lack of mobility are over. He crawls military style but it gets him where he wants to go, often in search of his next toy!

It may be hard to see in this picture, but Jake sprouted his first tooth exactly on his 9 month old birthday! Overall, his demeanor has been pretty good during the teething process (knock on wood!)....in fact, if we hadn't seen the white through his gums in the preceding weeks, we may not have known he was teething at all.

Jake Tristan arrived on June 28, 2006 at 4:55pm. He loves his cars, trains, legos, playing ball and finds fun and laughter in almost everything he does. Everyday he teaches us how to be parents and everyday we are thankful for his love, joyful personality and beautiful spirit.
Emma Kim arrived on July 29, 2009 at 5:27am. She loves to explore, play games, follow her big brother and is the sweetest gift of all. She is the love of all our lives and we are thankful she picked us as her family.
