Twice the Joy
Twice the joy...and three times the work! We often heard from other parents who have two kids that going from one to two kids is three times the work. And boy were they right! Our days of tag teaming where one of us could take a "break" from parenting are long gone. But, of course, we love that our family has grown and we look forward to watching Jake and Emma grow up to hopefully be not just brother and sister, but best friends.
Jake often wants to hold Emma and usually insist we take a picture of it. He is very sweet with her and never wants us to let her cry, even for a minute. He will even share his blankie - his most treasured comfort item.
