Trick or Treat

Although still a little young to know what Halloween is all about, Jake seemed to enjoy this year's trick or treating more than last year. Jake was a turtle this year and it seemed fitting because even as a baby, he seemed to be drawn to the turtle picture on his playmat more so than the others. Mom took him to to her office for some trick or treating, followed by a few houses around the neighborhood with Mom and Dad at night.

Jake sorts through Sam the Spider (the Yuen family's official Halloween mascot) to check out his loot. Too bad he won't be enjoying any of the candy he worked so hard to get....

A Day on the Farm

In search of the perfect pumpkin for Halloween, we went to visit Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay with Auntie Trang, Uncle Steve and Cousins Elise and Sean.

Meal Time

Meal time is definitely not Jake's favorite time of the day. He doesn't really seem to love food...he'd much rather be out and about playing and exploring so getting him to eat a full meal is usually quite a challenge. We never really know how much he will eat at each turn and he often needs to be entertained by something (other than food) in the high chair. So far his favorite foods are macaroni and cheese, Elmo crackers, and any kind of fruit but his seems to especially love mango.
