Happy Holidays 2008

The holidays seem to come around faster and faster each year...and this year was no exception. We spent the holidays this year at Gil's parent's house on Christmas Eve and we hosted Mom's extended family on Christmas Day at our house. We have always enjoyed the holidays season but as Jake gets older and begins to "get" Christmas, seeing it through his innocent and playful eyes is the best gift of all.

He is getting pretty good at opening presents and definitely now understands, there is usually a new toy for him under all that wrapping.

Boys will be boys...while Mom cringes at the idea of him playing with toy guns, it is inevitable. One of Mom's cousins got a nerf gun for christmas and all the boys (from Jake to Dad!) took a turn at playing with it and it provided hours of entertainment on Christmas Day.
